USWNT Star Alex Morgan Reveals Post-Baby Body 2 Weeks After Birth

Former U.S. Women’s National Team star Alex Morgan welcomed her son Enzo with husband Servando Carrasco just two weeks ago — and she’s ready to show off her postpartum body.

Clad in a black top and gray shorts, Morgan, 35, snapped a selfie of her post-baby body that she shared on Tuesday, April 15. The Olympic gold medalist reflected on her pregnancy and new life as a mother of two in the caption. (Morgan and Carrasco also share daughter Charlie, 4.

“A woman’s body is insane,” she wrote. “Real talk. We carry a child for 9 months, push them out of our bodies (in my case 20hrs of labor, and 4hrs of pushing 🙃) then boom, here you go, back to reality—with barely any recovery time.”

“Truly amazed by what women are capable of…from world championships to motherhood,” she added. “Thanks to @fridamom for the assist every step of the way.”

Fans and ex-teammates alike flooded the comments section with supportive messages for Morgan, who retired from professional soccer in 2024.

“Mom goals,” her former USWNT teammate Sophia Wilson wrote.

“Go momma. Looking awesome as per ussss,” Heather O’Reilly, also a former teammate, added.

Morgan and Carrasco announced Enzo’s arrival in a joint Instagram post on March 30, showing the newborn’s feet and hand in a pair of black-and-white photos.

“Soaking it all up right now,” they wrote in the caption. “Welcome to the world baby Enzo.”

Morgan first revealed she was pregnant in September at the same time she announced her retirement. The striker shared an emotional video via Instagram explaining her decision to hang up her cleats.

“I’m retiring and I have so much clarity about this decision and I’m so happy to be able to finally tell you,” she said in the video. “It has been a long time coming and this decision wasn’t easy but at the beginning of 2024, I felt in my heart and soul that this was the last season that I would play soccer.”

“Soccer has been a part of me for 30 years, and it was one of the first things that I ever loved,” she continued. “I gave everything to this sport and what I got in return was more than I could have ever dreamed of. Success for me is defined by never giving up and giving your all, and I did just that.”

Morgan added that it was not the retirement video she intended to share.

“Because Charlie’s gonna be a big sister,” she announced. “I am pregnant and as unexpected as this came, we are so overjoyed. To me, family means everything. I wouldn’t be here without my husband and my family motivating and encouraging and supporting me — and sacrificing for me for the last 15 years as a professional soccer athlete.”
